Mud's Inspection & Welding Services Pty. Ltd. t/a Macfab Engineering is an engineering firm that was established in 1996 by its two current Directors. Macfab Engineering is a major supplier of metal fabrications and installer of on-site mechanical projects.

The Company operates from one factory in Albury, NSW, situated in a close proximity to major highways between Melbourne and Sydney. Their factory is well equipped and is competent in structural, stainless steel, mild steel, aluminium and sheetmetal fabrications. We employ a total of approximately 30 staff covering management, tradespersons, apprentices, painters and trades assistants plus administration staff. Macfab Engineering is a current member of the Australian Industry Group and fully utilizes their resources to keep abreast of a changing business environment.
Occupational Health & Safety
It is a strict policy of Macfab Engineering to carry out all works that comply with all relevant statutory requirements, established standards and our own safety principles and rules. It is a firm intention of Macfab to provide and promote conditions of work which facilitate a safe and healthy environment for each and every employee. We have an excellent safety standard with no major incidents in our years of trading. We aim to continually improve safety when and where possible. Macfab Engineering actively provides for, encourages and supports the training and guidance in Occupational Health and Safety of its employees. The effectiveness of this system comes from a combined effort of each and every one of us doing our utmost to make it successful.
Construction Profile
Macfab Engineering has worked on many diverse projects. We employ approximately twenty five tradespeople, apprentices and trades assistants, a Manager, Production Supervisor and five Administration staff of varying experience. We have a reliable source of sub-contractors and labour hire in the fields of electrical. Civil works are readily available when necessary.
