Workshop Production Supervisor
Macfab Engineering currently has a position available for a Workshop Production Supervisor.
This important position would suit a candidate who is highly loyal and self-motivated and has excellent Supervisory/ Management skills to deal with all aspects of staff issues that arise. The applicant would need to have a high regard toward workshop safety.
Currently, our workshop consists of approximately 25 tradesmen and apprentices.
Your role would entail:
- • Job allocation and supervision of all workshop personnel
- • Unlocking of workshop premises daily and the organisation of the workforce
- • Securing of premises and machinery at end of business day
- • Close monitoring of job progressions
- • Stringent quality control and documentation
- • OH&S within the workshop
- • The organising of maintenance of machinery and
equipment - • Constant monitoring of materials and consumables
This position would be answerable directly to the Manager, and at the time the Directors. The position is a salaried, negotiable position for the right applicant.

Operations Manager

Due to the rapid expanding operation, Macfab engineering has an excellent opportunity for a proven, self-driven person to join its fantastic, dedicated team.
Reporting directly to the owners of the business, this important role will be responsible for the day-to-day running of Macfab.

- • We require a proven leader who is a self-driven, autonomous worker with
some years of experience with people, projects, safety and construction
management experience - • Has honed work prioritisation and project management skills within the
construction environmen - • Has held accountability and project responsibility for the construction of
complex, multi-faceted projects - • Has conceived and implemented processes for risk management,
performance measurement, organisational change, systems and workplace
safety management systems and initiatives - • Formulated, developed and ensured accreditation of processes and
procedures to obtain ‘best practice’ certification and compliance - • Exhibits exceptional oral, written, interpersonal, presentation and
computing skills - • Contract management expertise
- • Demonstrative management skills and knowledge within construction or
manufacturing sectors, strategic change management initiatives - • Sound knowledge of the implementation and management of Quality
Assurance and Safety Management Systems - • Proven understanding of legislative, regulatory and compliance
requirements within the construction industry
Must have the ability to interpret contracts. An attractive salary package will
be negotiated with the successful candidate.
